Once again are fan base is in the news for the wrong reasons! Over on X (twitter), a video was posted of a fan being pushed by Dejphon Chansiri, it has since come to light that the fan was looking to take a photo with Chansiri but then the fan started singing “Get out of our club”, as a response to this Chansiri pushed the fan to move him along.
Now there have been different views about this over on X (as there always are) – some are saying the fan is in the wrong, some are saying Chansiri is in the wrong but the way I see it, it’s a none story, to be honest. If someone comes up to you and starts singing in your face to get out of our club, you push them away, it’s natural, I have seen fans push each other all the time while singing different songs. Just because Chansiri is the owner, that doesn’t mean he can’t respond or push someone away – if I can do it, you can do that, then so can Chansiri.
People react differently to everything in life, obviously, the fan was trying to get a rise out of Chansiri and he did, so the fan got what he wanted, Chansiri got a bit of bad press and in a nutshell, that’s the none story right there.
The fan has faced some backlash on X (rightly so in my view) because once again, some of our fan base do things in the wrong way! If you don’t like Chansiri that’s fair enough but don’t go around singing/shouting in his face and think you’ll get a free pass! There are plenty of people I don’t like, who don’t like me but we don’t go around singing/shouting in each other’s faces!
I don’t like the way Chansiri has run the club but I don’t know him personally to make a judgment on him and I am pretty sure 99.9% of our fan base don’t know him personally to make a judgment either. From what the players and the manager have said, they all seem to get on with Chansiri, and that’s good enough for me because!
