So here we go into the final game of the season needing a point to make sure we stay in the championship for another season!

Now that doesn’t sound like a ‘good season’ but if you said that to any Sheff Wed fan at Christmas or even a few weeks ago, most would have said, there is no chance that is going to happen. We were been written off in October, before Christmas, after Chrismas, after the Huddersfield game and pretty much all season, so to be going into the final game of the season needing a point and more importantly knowing it’s in our hands, has actually turned out to be a ‘good season’!

Under the leadership of Danny Rohl & his coaching staff, we have seen a glimpse of some pretty good football and although it hasn’t been all plain sailing, there has been a much better connection with Danny, the team, the fan base, and things seem to be changing behind the scene (but that is yet to be confirmed).

Danny and club captain Barry Bannan have been saying for a while the aim was to take it down to the last game of the season and that’s exactly what has happened after the last two games, which have both been wins, I am pretty sure Danny & Bannan will have the team fired up to make sure they reach the goal of 53 points and another season in the Championship.
