From reading different articles online and posts on X, it looks like we are keen to sign the loan players below from this season:
Poveda:
Poved was a good loan for us, even tho he spent a good bit of it injured. I believe he is going to be a free agent in the summer, so a permanent deal could be on the cards if the right deal is put in front of him. If he can stay fit, he is the type of player that we need.
Ugbo:
Ugbo was another good loan sign for us, he showed glimpses here and there and got us the goals we needed. I feel he was a little hit and miss and he did go a few games without scoring BUT, his off-the-ball play was good at times and again if we can get him, I think he will get better under Danny and his staff. I think any deal for Ugbo could be a loan deal. The 25-year-old is still under contract at Troyes FC until 2026 and even tho they are sitting near the bottom of the French second league, the fee for Ugbo would be anything up to 5 Million+ in my view.
Beadle:
In my view, one of the best shot-stoppers we have had for a while BUT again, I think this might only be a loan deal. Beadle is under contract with Brighton until 2028 and I believe they value him at around £3-5million, so it took £5million+ to get him on a permanent deal. The only little bit of hope is that Brighton does have a couple of good young goalkeepers and Beadle isn’t at the top of that list right now, so if the right offer went in, they might let him go but with his contract going until 2028, it’s a very slim chance.
